Delete your account in the app
You can delete your ResQ account yourself, on iPhone or Android:
- Open the ResQ app and tap Settings
- Tap Profile
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
If you can't sign in to the app, email support@resqmedical.com and include your first name, last name, institution, program, and the email address on your ResQ account.
What ResQ holds
ResQ stores the minimum personal information needed to run the service: first name, last name, email address, and program information. You can optionally add a phone number, National Provider Number, and a home address used for Ignore Duty Hours at Home.
The app records the time you spend in WorkZones™ — the hospitals, laboratories and clinics mapped by your program. Location is handled by a third-party location service and used only for geofencing around those sites. ResQ does not share your personal information with it. Any location data that leaves your phone is de-identified, encrypted in transit and at rest, and deleted within 7 days.
Neither your personal information nor your location data is ever shared or sold, by ResQ or by its providers.
What deletion removes
Deleting your account removes your personal information from ResQ. Your recorded work hours are deleted along with your account, and all logs are permanently purged within 24 months.
