Some residents live close enough to the hospital that their home sits inside a WorkZone™, so hours record while they are at home. Ignore Duty Hours at Home carves your address out of a WorkZone™ you still train in — hours stop recording at home and keep recording at work.
If you never train at the site near your home, you do not need this. Use Toggle WorkZones™ instead and switch that WorkZone™ off completely.
Setting it up
Two steps: your home address goes in the web portal, and the setting itself is switched on in the app.
- Sign in to your portal. Your Institution ID followed by .resqmedical.com — for example lomalinda.resqmedical.com.
- Open your profile. Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner and choose Profile.
- Add your address. Fill in Address, City, State and Zip, then Save.
- Switch it on in the app. Go to Settings → Preferences. Under WorkZone™ Preferences, turn Ignore Duty Hours at Home on.
That is it. Hours stop recording at home from then on, on iPhone and on Android.

Good to know
- Work you really do at home still counts. Charting, reading, taking call from your apartment belongs in your record. This setting only stops ResQ recording there automatically — you can still add those hours yourself on the WorkTime™ screen and choose Work From Home.
- It changes nothing for your program. This is a personal setting on your own profile, and it does not alter the WorkZone™ for anyone else training there.
- If you move, update the address on your profile in the portal. The exclusion follows whichever address is on your profile at the time.
- You can turn it off any time in Settings → Preferences.
